Free trial

Every new Overwatch organization starts on a 14-day free trial. You get full access to your chosen plan’s features without entering payment details. A countdown in Settings → Plan shows how many days remain. When your trial ends, your monitors are paused until you subscribe to a paid plan. No data is deleted — subscribing re-enables everything immediately.

Subscribing to a plan

1

Open plan settings

Go to Settings → Plan in the dashboard.
2

Choose your plan

Review the Starter and Pro plan cards. Click Subscribe on the plan you want.
3

Complete checkout

You’re taken to a Stripe-hosted checkout page. Enter your payment details and confirm.
4

Subscription activates

Once payment is confirmed, your subscription becomes active and you return to the dashboard automatically.
Only the organization owner can manage billing and subscriptions.

Upgrading or downgrading

After subscribing, you can change plans through the Stripe billing portal:
  1. Go to Settings → Plan.
  2. Click Manage billing.
  3. Select your new plan and confirm the change.
Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. Before downgrading, make sure your current usage fits within the lower plan’s limits. If you have more monitors, alert channels, or team members than the target plan allows, the downgrade button will be blocked until you reduce usage.
If you downgrade and your usage exceeds the new plan’s limits after the period ends, your over-limit monitors will be paused automatically. Remove unused resources before the period ends to avoid interruption.

Enterprise

Enterprise is designed for organizations with scale, compliance, or custom requirements. It includes:
  • Unlimited monitors with 10-second check intervals
  • 2-year data retention
  • SSO and SAML authentication
  • Dedicated support with an SLA
  • Custom integrations

Cancelling your subscription

To cancel:
  1. Go to Settings → Plan.
  2. Click Manage billing.
  3. Follow the cancellation flow in the Stripe portal.
After you cancel, your subscription status changes to Canceling. You keep full access until the end of your current billing period. When the period ends, your monitors are paused. Your data is retained and you can resubscribe at any time to resume monitoring.
